The call you can never take

The phone always rings mid-shoot, with a camera to your face. That's the one Clayta is for.

Answers while you work

Books consultation call, portrait session, wedding coverage and the rest of your list, without you putting anything down.

Answers what you get asked

Prices, hours, how long consultation call takes — it answers from what you've told it, and takes a message rather than guessing when it hasn't been told.

Answers after you've closed

You're open maybe 50 hours a week. There are 168. A call at nine on a Sunday either becomes a booking or becomes somebody else's.

Questions from photographers

The only thing that matters on the first call is the date. Will it check it?

It checks your real calendar and answers from it, so "are you free on the 14th" gets a true answer rather than a promise to look. A date you are already booked on is never offered.

Packages are complicated. Can it explain mine?

It answers what you have written down, at the level of detail you have written it. Most people set it up to give the starting price and book a consultation, because the rest of that conversation is one you want to have yourself.

Can it tell someone when their gallery will be ready?

It repeats your standard turnaround if you have given it one. It does not check the status of a specific edit, and it will say so and take a message rather than inventing a delivery date.
