What counts as a minute?

Accepted Answer

Time the assistant spends on a call, rounded up to the nearest minute. A typical booking call runs two to three minutes, so the 150 minutes included with Starter covers roughly 50 to 70 calls a month. Texts are not minutes. Confirmations and reminders don't count against your allowance. Your dashboard shows what you've used so far this month, so it isn't a surprise at the end.

What happens if I go over my minutes?

Your line keeps answering. We warn you at 80% of your allowance and again at 100% so you can decide whether to move up a plan. We do not quietly bill per-minute overage, and we never stop picking up. A shop whose phone goes dead mid-month is the exact thing this product exists to prevent.

Question 3

How do I cancel?

Settings → Plan → Cancel my plan. You do it yourself, in the dashboard, without contacting anybody. Your line keeps answering until the end of the period you've already paid for. You can export your calls, transcripts and client records before you go. Your own business number is unaffected — dial *73 to stop forwarding and calls come straight back to you. The Clayta number stops working and may be reissued.

How does the money-back guarantee work?

If Clayta isn't earning its keep within 30 days of signing up, email us and we'll refund that month. There is no form to fill in and no phone call to sit through. You don't have to justify it. If it isn't catching enough calls to be worth the money, that's the answer the guarantee is for.

Question 5

How do I change plan?

Accepted Answer

Settings → Plan, and pick the one you want. Starter is $99 a month for one location; Growth is $249 for multiple. Moving up takes effect immediately and is billed pro-rata for the rest of the month. Moving down takes effect at your next billing date so you keep what you've paid for.
