Is there a free trial?

Yes. Your first seven days are free on either plan. We take your card when you sign up, so your number can be bought and your line can go live straight away, and nothing is charged before day seven. On day seven your first month is invoiced, unless you have cancelled before then. Cancel during the free seven days and you pay nothing at all: your number keeps answering until the trial ends, and no charge is ever made. The free week has its own minute allowance, which is seven thirtieths of the plan's month: 35 minutes on Starter and 140 on Growth. If you use them all before day seven, the line stops answering until you start your plan, which brings it straight back with a full month of minutes. Your dashboard shows how many trial minutes are left and the date your first invoice lands, so neither is a surprise.

What counts as a minute?

Time the assistant spends on a call, rounded up to the nearest minute. A booking call usually runs two to three, so the 150 minutes on Starter covers roughly 50 to 70 calls a month. Your dashboard shows what you've used this month, so the total is never a surprise.

What happens if I go over my minutes?

Your line keeps answering. We warn you at 80% of your allowance and again at 100%, so you can decide whether to move up a plan. We don't quietly bill per-minute overage, and we don't stop picking up. The free seven days are the exception. The trial has its own smaller allowance, 35 minutes on Starter and 140 on Growth, and when it is gone the line stops answering until you start your plan. Starting it brings the line back with a full month of minutes.

Are your minutes unlimited?

No. Starter includes 150 minutes a month and Growth includes 600. What does not run out is your line: on a paid plan it carries on picking up after those minutes are used. We warn you at 80% of your allowance and again at 100%, so you can decide whether to move up a plan. If you would rather stay where you are, nothing changes and your line keeps answering. We don't bill per-minute overage, there is no setup fee, and there is no month in which your phone goes quiet because a meter ran out. The free seven days are the exception, and they are the one time the line does stop. How do I cancel?

Open Your account, find Plan, and cancel there. You do it yourself, without contacting anybody. Cancel during your free seven days and you have not been charged and you will not be. Your number keeps answering until the trial ends. Otherwise your line keeps answering to the end of the period you've paid for, and you can export your calls, transcripts and client records first. Dial *73 and calls come straight back to your own phone; the Clayta number may be reissued.

Question 6

How does the money-back guarantee work?

If Clayta isn't earning its keep within 30 days of signing up, email us and we refund that month. No form, no phone call. This is separate from the free trial. Your first seven days cost nothing, and the guarantee covers the first month you actually pay for. You don't have to justify it.

Question 7

How do I change plan?

Accepted Answer

Open Your account, find Plan, and pick the one you want. Starter is $99 a month for one location; Growth is $249 for multiple. Moving up is immediate and billed pro-rata for the rest of the month. Moving down waits for your next billing date, so you keep what you've paid for.
